The California Transparency in Supply Chain Act

White River Marine Group requires its vendors that have a vendor contract with White River Marine Group to agree and certify that: (1) they and their subcontractors shall adhere to White River Marine Groups' employment standards and comply with all laws prohibiting human trafficking and slavery; and (2) materials incorporated into the products the vendor supplies to White River Marine Group comply with all laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. For any vendor that does not have a vendor contract with White River Marine Group, White River Marine Group requests that such vendor certify that (1) they and their subcontractors shall adhere to White River Marine Groups' employment standards and all comply with all laws prohibiting human trafficking and slavery; and (2) materials incorporated into the products the vendor supplies to White River Marine Group comply with all laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business. White River Marine Group engages in verification of product supply chains to evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery by using announced audits conducted by internal personnel and by independent auditors. These audits also evaluate vendor compliance with our standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains.

White River Marine Group is in the process of implementing and maintaining accountability standards and procedures for any vendor who is determined to have failed these requirements, up to and including, refusing to do business with vendors who do not agree to conform to our standards regarding slavery and human trafficking.  White River Marine Group associates directly responsible for supply chain management undergo periodic company training; the training program is being reviewed for inclusion of awareness of human trafficking and slavery risks in the supply chain of products and ways to mitigate those risks.
